About Us

Gardner Elks Lodge illuminated with colorful holiday lights at night. — Gardner Elks Lodge #1426
Gardner Elks Lodge illuminated with colorful holiday lights at night.

Since its charter, Gardner Elks Lodge #1426 has been one of the most active fraternal organizations in north-central Massachusetts. Families in Gardner keep coming back, booking the hall for baby showers, first birthdays, second birthdays, and everything in between, because the staff genuinely shows up for them. That kind of repeat trust is not accidental.

The lodge sits at 31 Park St, easy to find and familiar to generations of Gardner residents. Members enjoy exclusive invitations to seasonal events like the Easter and Christmas celebrations that make the calendar feel full. Bingo nights draw regulars who arrive early and stay late, filling the room with the particular energy that only a well-run community night can produce.

The Elks mission runs deeper than the hall rental: charitable giving, veterans support, and youth programs connect Lodge #1426 to the broader community it serves. With a 4.4-star rating across 85 reviews, the lodge earns its reputation one event at a time.

What We Offer

The banquet hall at Lodge #1426 is available for private events, making it a practical and affordable choice for parties, showers, milestone birthdays, and organizational meetings. Members and non-members alike can inquire about booking, and the staff works with you to set up the space for your headcount.

Beyond rentals, active members gain access to a full calendar of lodge-run events. Bingo nights are a staple, drawing a lively crowd on a regular schedule. Seasonal holiday parties for Easter and Christmas give families a reason to gather outside their own four walls, with the lodge handling the logistics.

The Elks also coordinate community giving programs, scholarship opportunities for local youth, and veterans outreach initiatives aligned with the national BPOE mission. Membership opens the door to all of it, and the annual dues represent one of the better value propositions in Gardner.

"I went there for a meeting and we rented the hall. The wallpaper is peeling there's a lot of gouges in the walls it really needs to be repaired I talked to staff and they said it is what it is we had to wait for them to turn the heat on a half hour after we entered the building which was also a half hour later than what we rented the space so we couldn't use the hall for an hour and what our start time was supposed to be."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
